Shayari 1:

                प्रेमिकाएं चाहती रहीं "अर्धांगिनी" कहलाने का हक़,
              और 'अर्धांगिनी' का हठ रहा 'प्रेमिकाओं' सा प्रेम,
              जीवन की यही अतृप्ति "मृगतृष्णा" बन गई।

Translation:

                "The lovers longed for the right to be called 'Ardhangini',
               And 'Ardhangini' stubbornly desired love like that of a 'lover'.
               This unfulfilled desire of life became the 'Mirage'."

Shayari 2:

                जो सच लिखूँ तो ख़ुद को तेरा लिख दूँ,

              जो झूठ लिखूँ तो तुझको अपना लिख दूँ।

Translation:

                "If I write the truth, I will write myself as yours,

               If I write a lie, I will write you as mine."

Shayari 3:

               एक उम्मीद है कभी न लौट के आने वाले किसी मुसाफ़िर की,

              जाते-जाते बस एक बार पलट के देख लेना।

Translation:

                "There is a hope for a traveler who will never return,

               Just turn back once while leaving."

Shayari 4:

                किसी भी प्रेम कहानी के अन्त होने का कारण हमेशा धोखा नहीं होता,

              कभी-कभी प्रेम कहानी का अन्त ज़रूरत से ज़्यादा प्रेम होने से भी होता है।

Translation:

                "The end of any love story is not always due to betrayal,

               Sometimes, it ends because of too much love."
